Have you ever tastes a food item and felt like you could taste the love that went into baking it? When I was a child, my family and took a trip up north to Dutch country. I was young, but I remember the people being so warm and the food being pure, simple and so full of flavor.
First the Whoopie Pies- WOW! These are amazing-they are not overly sweet and the filling is not greasy. If you ask me they are just about as perfect as perfect gets all you need is a big glass of cold milk. They are so light in flavor, so be prepared to wanna eat them all.... in one sitting.
Made with sweet cream sandwiched between two soft cake layers, these highest-quality whoopies come in several delicious flavors, and if you know anything about the yummy foods the Lancaster County Amish culture excels in producing, you'll want to try them all! Each whoopie pie is approximately 3" diameter

Bird-in-Hand Bake Shop Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pie-has a very old time flavor filled with molasses richness. But its not over the top sweet  My My My warm it up and add ice cream and this pie will blow your mind. Simple, fresh and good!
 Each 9" pie gives about seven servings of this traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dessert with a gooey bottom, cake-like middle, and crumb topping. For those of us who have that irresistible sweet tooth, Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pie is, without doubt, a "must have". Note - The Oatmeal whoopies are bigger than the other flavors, so we can't fit as many in any of the three pack sizes. If you choose oatmeal, we'll fit them in as best we can, but you will not receive as many as the pack size indicates. Example #1 - only four Oatmeal whoopies fit in the 5-pack box. Example #2 - In a 9-pack box that includes one Oatmeal whoopie, there may be a total of only 8 whoopies.
We try to avoid shipping whoopie pies over the weekend, to avoid the package sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If you order this item later in the week, we may wait to ship your order until the following Monday. Whether we wait to ship it or not depends on shipping time to your zip code.
