Here we go! So the last 2 weeks I have upped my calorie intake because I was eating nowhere near the amount I should have while on Nutrisystem. I know that seems easy enough right? Well, no it's really not. First off, it's so hot! I know it's hot everywhere, but it is truly a different kinda hot in South Georgia. The heat just makes me not want to eat at all. Then when I finally get hungry I just want junk or that is how it's been in the past. This year I am keeping lots of fresh fruits around to try and combat that. Second off, it's HOT! It's just too hot to get out and walk. Even in the afternoons it's around 95+ outside. So I spend most of  my exercise time in the pool swimming because the water is cool. Also, pool time is a great way to spend some time with the kids.

So if you are keeping up with my blog you know that this past week was my daughter's birthday and also I took the kids to the movies. Sarah picked cheesecake as her birthday cake. Not gonna lie, I had a slice and it was good. But here's the good thing, I stopped at a slice and I was more than satisfied. On to movie day, I had no popcorn, soda or candy at the movies, I was a good girl. I was thinking about sneaking in a NS snack, but I didn't. After the movie the kids wanted to go out to eat so I took them, I was a good girl, I ordered a kids meal! Much to my SHOCK I lost 3 pounds this past week! **Happy dance** I am proud if I do say so myself! I am very blessed to have lots of support from my husband and kids through this 3-month journey. I also got a very exciting email yesterday saying that I was approved for a 4th month on the blogger program. Needless to say I am over the moon about this and I am very excited and beyond blessed to have this opportunity extended another month...so until next week, eat healthy my friends!
