Nutri Ninja with Auto-IQ One-Touch Intelligence

We have all heard about the great smoothies that can be made with the Nutri Ninja with Auto-IQ One-Touch Intelligence. But did you know you can use it to make wonderful dough too? This year I have discovered a love for making homemade sugar cookies. So, when I found out the Nutri Ninja with Auto-IQ One-Touch Intelligence came with a dough blade I just knew it had to me mine! It has a large capacity so it easily fit my cookie ingredients. IT made short work of my mixing and I started with cold butter(I know broke rule number 1 of cookie making!) After making cookies in it, I don't know how I ever did it without it. By the way, it does make awesome smoothies too! Just in time for cool treats for my kids summer break!

Want to try my cookie recipe? Shhh..I don't just share it with anyone!

Ingredients:

1 Cup butter, softened
1 Cup granulated white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cream cheese flavoring
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F.
In the bowl of your mixer cream butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in extracts and egg.
add dry ingredients.
The dough will be very stiff. If it becomes too stiff for your mixer turn out the dough onto a countertop surface. Wet your hands and finish off kneading the dough by hand.
Divide into workable batches, place in air safe container and refrigerate up to 5 days with a min of 3 hours.
Roll out onto a floured surface and cut. You want these cookies to be on the thicker side (closer to 1/4 inch rather than 1/8).
Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes. Let cool on the cookie sheet until firm enough to transfer to a cooling rack.
