No more scooping thanks to the Litter-Robot III Open Air

(Smitty the kitty)

One of the absolute worst task about having an indoor kitty has always been scooping the litter box. Nobody wants to do it, yet it has to be done or things start to get smelly fast. I was so over scooping, with 4 cats it was an all day thing...scoop, scoop, scoop, and repeat! So, one night while I was laying in bed not sleeping(maybe I was thinking about scooping) I started a search for a better way. The very first site I came across was Litter-Robot III Open Air. I was in awe of this amazing thing I had found! That night I watched hours and hours of videos about how if worked. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I reached out to them in hopes to work with them and they said...YES! This had to be the end all, beat all of litter boxes....so much promise! Could this really be the end of hours of scoop, scoop, scoop, and repeat?

Yes, YES! It was! From day 1 we as a family were mesmerized over this contraption! It was ready to roll right out of the box. It was fully assembled and even had a drawer liner in it. All that was left to do was remove the old litter box. Out with the old, in with the new. We filled it with litter, plugged it in and we were off to the races, so to speak. Our cats were very curious and literally jumped right in. I'm not embarrassed to say we watched it like a TV.  This photo above is the dumping drawer under the Litter-Robot III Open Air. You can't see it in the photo but there is a carbon filter at the front of the drawer to keep the smell locked in. All we really need to do is check every few days to see if the drawer needs to be emptied. We just pull the used liner out and add a new drawer liner. Then we check to make sure the litter levels in the box are good. When your cat goes into this magnificent kitty bathroom and completes its business it rotates and cleans all the kitty waste out of the litter. Our cats took right to it and their old litter box out the door the very next day. We have currently been using it a little over a week and looking back I wonder how we ever made it without it! I know, know what you are thinking. It's $449, and I know that is a lot of money but I am telling you it's a dream! We are using significantly less litter, those savings alone help pay for the Litter-Robot III Open Air.

The Litter-Robot III Open Air would make a wonderful gift that you can give yourself or any of your kitty parent friends this holiday season.

It's like a kitty foot catch all for anything on their furry little feet! It helps keep the litter off the floor and in the box where it belongs. It's easy to lift and remove for dumping.

Say hello to the completely re-imagined Litter-Robot III Open Air. Freeing yourself from scooping litter has never been more convenient. The improved, self-adjusting weight sensor knows when your cat is inside and when it’s time to clean up. After each use, a timer counts down, allowing clumping litter to set before a cleaning cycle begins automatically. The patented sifting system preserves the clean litter and deposits the waste into a convenient carbon-filtered drawer below. Empty the waste drawer when indicated and add litter as needed.
