  • Wash your hands with SOAP a lot. I can NOT stress this enough or tell you how many times I tell my kids this. Germs are EVERYWHERE! Especially in public places if you can't always wash your hands, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is another good option.
  • Stay away, try to avoid places were sick people are. And if you are sick stay at home! Cover your mouth and face when you cough or sneeze preferably with something other than your hand.
  • Rest and get a good night's sleep. Research shows that people who get less than seven hours of sleep each night are three times more likely to catch colds than those who get at least eight hours. Getting quality sleep on a regular basis strengthens your immune system, helping your body fight off colds, the flu, and other infections.
  • Use the power of nature. Stay hydrated and also try the new Cool Relief Lemon Frost Drops cool your throat and nasal passages when you have a really bad cold. The new Cool Relief Lemon Frost Drops provide Ricola's strongest relief yet! The new Cool Relief Lemon Frost Drops have 3x the natural menthol content of Ricola Original Natural Herb Drops.

  2. I like Ricola and it does help clear the nasal passages when you get a little stuffy. I have seasonal allergies and sometimes I wake up stuffy. Some hot coffee and a Ricola lozenge afterwards does the trick to ease my stuffiness and gets me ready to face yet another busy day.
