Back to school with treats from Otis Spunkmeyer

August 30, 2017

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Otis Spunkmeyer.

Our family has had the absolute pleasure of working with Otis Spunkmeyer on a few occasions over the past year. We are always thrilled to receive packages in the mail but a sweet treat makes it extra special. This year the nostalgic sweets brand is celebrating 40 years in the fresh-baked cookie business (founder Ken Rawlins baked the first batch in 1977!), and launched a new Grab-N-Go line featuring the chocolate chunk cookies, among other baked goods, all made with ‘no funky stuff.’ I don't think 40 years has ever looked or tasted so sweet.

With back to school just around the corner for most parts of the country, we start to think about packing lunch boxes. Believe it or not our kids are about to go into their 5th week of school! While Otis Spunkmeyer offers a wide range of sweets for everyone's taste we are spotlighting these 2 for your viewing pleasure.

Cinnamon Crumb Loaf Cake is a delicious, crumbly, cinnamon streusel layered coffee cake embedded it on a buttery, vanilla cake. Well doesn't that just say a mouthful? The flavors are warm and inviting and bring about memories of holiday cooking with my mom. It does great with a glass of milk or cup of coffee.

Iced Lemon Loaf Cake is a lemon loaf cake topped with tangy lemon flavored icing. This just screams summer time to me. The cake is moist and full of refreshing sweet lemon flavor.

Both of these are perfect for back to school and have the quality and flavor we have come to love from Otis Spunkmeyer. Look for them today at a store near you.

Happy snacking for back to school or anytime!
