When we reached out to the fine folks at ThinkGeek and they said yes we felt like kids in a candy store...geeky kids at that. We let the oldest boy child pick the items from this company and we think he did a spiffy job. As you can tell he was ready to light it up with his selections.

The LED Potion Desk Lamp - works like a "charm". The color changing LED lamp will make your space feel magical. It's perfect fans of RPGs of all types and fans of chemistry.
I'm a big Harry Potter fan and this reminds me of why I'm a fan. There is just something mesmerizing and beautiful about this piece. It's very well made and looks so realistic you fully expect it to start bubbling. The current list price for this item is just $34.99.(prices subject to change without notice)

The Light-Up Pikachu - Yes, we know the video is not as great as the ones on ThinkGeek but we think you get the idea. Gotta catch them all? All Pokemon will show up when you have this light-up Pikachu in your room. (these claims have not been proven, but it sounds good!) This item is battery operated and has a 10-minute auto shut-off. This is a great feature and makes it a wonderful nightlight. It's 7 inches tall and puts off a warm glow. It's currently priced at just $14.99.(prices subject to change without notice)

The SuperNova Light Cube LED Bluetooth Speaker - get ready to listen and see your music in a whole new way! The SuperNova is a brilliant light show combined with a powerful Bluetooth speaker system. It has 2 Mode buttons give you control of the pattern and color palette. The light show is independent of the music, so can be enjoyed even when you aren't blasting tunes. This small but mighty speaker is perfect for a desk. This current list price is $39.99.(prices subject to change without notice)

Our initial reaction to this prop was, "Pshaw. It's not metal?" As your copywriter was off harumphing about that, she accidentally triggered the blade and cut her wrist. Now the blade's not sharp, but it deploys quickly and with force, and if it spring-unloads itself into something that's closer than its full extension, it's definitely going to leave a mark. And possibly a band-aid.

So we're very grateful this blade isn't metal. We like you guys each in one piece. And we don't want you cutting your wrists, accidentally or on purpose. We should note that this also has a safety, so if you're clumsy like us and constantly setting it off, that's good news. We're just beginner Assassins around here. The straps that attach it to your forearms have metal buckles to adjust it to fit you, but you're probably going to want somebody to help you out with that. Just be sure you have the safety on so you don't inadvertently stab the help. Hard to get good help these days.

You know what meetings need more of? Pirates. There are very few meetings that wouldn't be vastly improved by somebody bursting through the doors, wielding a cutlass.

That somebody can be you with this full-size replica of Edward Kenway's cutlass from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. A massive 41" long with a gorgeous hilt, this latex reproduction features a fiberglass core, so you can actually hit people inanimate objects with it. Be sure to wear it with the Hidden Blade Replica so you can surprise them once they think they've successfully disarmed you. Ha HA. Take THAT you scurvy dog of a project manager! No more scope creep from you today.
