Happy Fall Y'all! Fall has always been my absolute favorite time of the year. Residing in south Georgia, I welcome the cooler temperatures and the change of colors! Are you looking for some great craft ideas for Fall? From spooky to sweet, try these carving hacks for a truly bootiful pumpkin.

  • Painted Pumpkins - Rather than carving pumpkins, amplify the design with paint. Use FrogTape® brand painters tape to create a fun pattern like stripes and letters, before painting with a metallic gold paint. For a spooky look, create a skeleton or bat design with black paint while using the FrogTape® brand painter’s tape to prevent paint bleed.
  • Use a Drill – Make cool light patterns on your pumpkin by using a drill. It’s easy, fun and looks awesome once lit up.
  • Glitter Stems – Once your pumpkins are painted, give them a glittered, whimsical stem. Make sure to use FrogTape® to protect the areas you don’t want to be covered in glitter, such as the stem.
  • Duck Tape – If you want the traditional Jack-O’-Lantern look without getting out the carving tools, cut out eyes, a nose and a mouth from black Duck brand Duck Tape® for an easy (and mess-free) DIY pumpkin.
  • Baking Tools – Cookie cutters can be used to carve pumpkins to perfection. Plus, it ensures an even, symmetrical design every time.
Make sure to also check out this not so spooky chance to win from Duck Brand.
